Ellie joined Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) in 2019. She holds a PhD degree in Chemical and Process Engineering with research interest in “microwave pyrolysis of waste plastic for production of fuel”. She also holds a master degree in Petroleum Engineering and previously worked as a reservoir and process engineer in oil and gas industry. She currently teaches engineering courses at WITT and acts as energy lead.
