Mike Sang has been Chief Executive for Ngāi Tahu Holdings Group (NTH) since January 2013.
NTH is a diversified investment company with a focus on long-term growth and building businesses aligned with Ngāi Tahu values. The NTH portfolio has assets exceeding $1.8 billion made up of a diverse range of investments, with farming, property, seafood, and tourism at the heart of its operations.
Prior to this Mike was Chief Executive Officer for the Office of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu after joining the organisation in 2009 as Group General Manager Service Delivery. Mike has a commercial and finance background and previously worked as Chief Financial Officer for PGG Wrightson and Group Manager Finance for Airways Corporation.
Mike has a commitment to all aspects of sustainability and has been on the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Business Council since 2015. As CE of NTH he is a signatory to the CEO Climate Change statement.
Mike is also currently a director of Go Bus, Watson & Son, Ngāi Tahu Farming and a board member for the NZ Council of Infrastructure Development. Mike is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants and the NZ Institute of Directors.
